Functions as it should.
For $10 vs $23 for other brands this is great. I spent about $10 on PetSmart store brsnd one 7 years ago that broke so like to see how long this lasts. Sharpness is great, cut my cats nails really quickly and effortlessly again. This design has been really safe, versus the scissor type clippers.

Great even for large dogs!
I have an 85lb bully mix and he is the most lovable guy – but not with nail trims. He HATES having his nails cut. This is amazing and has made cutting his nails sooooo much easier for me! Provides stability and more confidence on my part while he’s moving and yanking. Blade also feels thinner and sharper than the typical nail clippers. I’m able to get but smaller slivers off that wasn’t possible with the normal ones. Super helpful while we’re trying to get his quicks pushed back.

Not made for medium sized dogs
The only reason I’m giving two stars is because it states these were good for bigger dogs or smaller dogs, which is not true. My dog is a medium size dog. His nails are fairly thick and these do not cut it like it says it will. I’ve tried a couple nails and it did not do anything besides break the nails down rather than cutting.But I would say these would be absolutely perfect for a cat or a smaller dog. They do cut nice and the grip is fantastic. Just does not work for bigger dogs with thicker nails.

Wonderful thus far.
We’ve used these once so far but they are sharp and accurate! (You just know what you’re doing with specific types of nails, there’s no guard on the clippers) Made it a breeze to trim our babies claws. He is a min pin chi, so smaller black nails, we cut until we see the black dot surrounded by white, he never bleeds. He barely flinches with these as long as dad holds him, they’re very sharp so it’s easy to be quick.

Its amazing how poorly designed so many of these are, even if they look the same. The nail opening isn’t big enough, and/or the handle itself is often so flimsy that it bends as you apply pressure. Not this one! It is sturdy and well made and it slices my Pointer’s thick nails smoothly and painlessly. This is the one to get.

Beste Schere für mich: Man sieht genau wie viel man abschneidet und dass man nicht aus Versehen irgendwas einklemmt, weil ein Stopper die Sicht versperrt. Dann macht es kein Knackgeräusch – mein Border Collie ist nämlich sehr schreckhaft und zieht nach zweimal abknipsen immer die Pfote weg. Diese Schere geht durch die Kralle wie durch Butter, man kann ganz langsam durchschneiden. Sie ist sehr scharf. Endlich die perfekte Schere gefunden.
