My go to dog foodTired many types, and this is truly a perfect example of “ you get what you pay for”I tried cheaper, I tried more expensive, only to have them experience stomach problems, not eat, over eat, etcWith bixbi liberty red meat formula, Their coat and overall health, even demeanor has greatly improved. Dry dog food review
For dry dog food that still has AGES in it, it’s not. My dog likes it, but I feed her it minimally because mostly I feed her raw grass fed beef that I buy for myself and organic vegetables the same that I buy for myself.

I can’t comment on the flavor but my dog seems to like the flavor and the texture. There wasn’t a difference in her bowel movements or activity levels when we switched brands so that’s comforting. The bag is smaller than expected though.

Chicken free…but not really
My dog has a chicken allergy. I was excited to see that this food did not have any chicken or chicken by product in it. He loved the taste, but within minutes, he began shaking his head and scratching at his ears. This is his most common reaction to consuming chicken. This food is most likely produced on machines that also process foods containing chicken based ingredients.

the stuff is a bit pricey but it has no fillers, and no junk in it! I only feed 1/4 cup per day per dog, and I have 3 Jack Russell’s. It is their bedtime “snack”. They wait for it and beg if the time is nearing the usual timeframe. this behavior never happens with other dry kibbles, so they know the difference and prefer this over nearly everything else!
