Great for at home pet owners.
Hi, I am a professional groomer and just order this set. As a groomer of 50 plus years I would say this would be great for the home groomer to save move and doggy frustrations. Speed is great for any small job quieter than a grooming shop. Functions very well on all tools. Remove 95 % of hair in a short time. Comfortable to us and your pet can relax more than being in a shop. Easy to clean. Just spray out the hose and tools where dander is. Carful not to get metal parts to wet. Dry by wiping out or a blower for safe storing. My dogs did great with it. The clippers word well on my dogs feet. I don’t clip my Aussies but their feet.

Even an amateur can do it!
Easy to use with great results! I decided to groom my two dogs from now on which saves a lot of money and provides bonding time. I turn it on only halfway to reduce the suction and noise as I have small senior dogs, and they are relaxed through the process. I have had this machine for almost a year and have been happy with the quality and ease of use. I use it every month or so. There are several sizes of guards the I use depending on how short I want to go for the weather. I bought two more as gifts for other dog lovers interested in trying to groom their own dogs. I think of it as a dog flowbee since it sucks up the hair as it cuts! It keeps the area clean, and you just need to empty the machine periodically.

This is NOT whisper quiet, but works great
One thing I had read prior to purchase was how quiet this was. It Is Not. I have one cat that will tolerate it, just because he loves attention. The other will turn me into hamburger if I put this near her. It is louder than my refrigerator, but it is slightly quieter than my actual vacuum cleaner.The cat that tolerates this lets me use all of the attachments on his. And it works great. He sheds so much that it looks like another cat is left on the floor.It is not that easy to clean. I mean the hair dumps out ok, but the ‘filter’ area has all these corners in it that you cannot use your fingers to get to.It’s a little pricey, but when you have a long haired cat and no one wants to groom them, it’s worth it.

Surpasses my expectations
I am absolutely blown away by this product. I saw the reviews, and knew what people were saying, but took it all with a grain of salt because I have a Newfoundland. Which if you know, you know. Not only is she 115 pounds, but she has both a double coat and long fur on her legs and tail that needs maintenance. And she slobbers and loves playing in snow or water, depending on the season. This girl is a lot of work to maintain, and even more work to clean up after when I do groom her. But this machine seriously made it SO easy. The clippers are excellent. Very quiet, comfortable to use, and much quieter than standard clippers. She didn’t try to run away from them even once! The detangler/dematter attachment works incredibly well, on her back legs and behind her ears, and the deshedder…. Just WOW. She thoroughly enjoyed the brush attachment, and it is seriously just like the videos when you push the button on those two attachments. I tried to dryer out, though we didn’t do a bath because she doesn’t fit in my tub and the place we do go to use one is closed for the holidays. It did seem to have good air pressure and the heat worked great. Also, much quieter than the ones I have used at self serve dog washes. She dislikes being groomed, and I dislike grooming her, but this was a joy to use for both me and the dog, who sat nicely without a fight for the first time in four years of grooming. Cannot recommend enough for sensitive giants!! So much quieter than my standard grooming tools. Finally, a product that actually is what it appears to be in the advertising!!!! You should buy this if you have Newfies. I promise you won’t regret it.EDIT: just tried the dryer for the first time and wasn’t as blown away. (Pun totally intended.) That being said, she actually really, really enjoyed it and was yawning and closing her eyes. And she hates all hair drying devices usually. It got warmer than the big one at the dog wash and was much, much quieter. It just didn’t have high enough pressure to really get a double coated dog dry, but as she usually doesn’t get into a pan I just made rice crispy treats in and require a bath in a tub she doesn’t fit, I stand by my five stars. The dryer would be pretty perfect for a shorter coated doggo though.

Great for dogs who dislike going to groomer
This is a great alternative for anyone whose dog does not do like going to a groomer. The attachments and brushes work great on double coats and the vacuum sucks the hair up. My pup does not like the sound of a regular vacuum, but this allows me to adjust the amount of suction which also adjusts the sound of the vacuum. He is able to tolerate it.

If you have a fluffy dog with a double coat — think Leonberger, Newfoundland, Great Pyrenees, or even a Husky — do yourself a favor and get this vacuum trimmer. It’s a total game-changer for grooming at home.The combs work really well, even through thick undercoats. The suction is powerful enough to grab all the loose hair right away, so you don’t end up covered in prickly bits. It’s also quieter than running a regular vacuum while brushing, so our big furball actually stays calm.Grooming used to mean fur tumbleweeds everywhere, but now it’s so much cleaner. No more clogged brushes, no more itchy hairs on your clothes and furniture. Great product for grooming
This has made grooming our dogs (Yorkie mix) so much easier! I love how quiet the shaver is and that it immediately sucks the hair up! It saves me so much time! It works better than I thought it would and is great to have. Love that I can use it to vacuum any stray hairs that may fall as I am grooming. The blades are sharp and cut through hair like butter! For the cost of 1 grooming session for my dogs I am able to do it at home over and over again!
