I picked this up as a treat mix for my backyard feeder, and it definitely feels higher quality than the usual bulk seed bags. The ingredients look clean and varied, and my local California Towhees go absolutely wild for it. Not shocking, since they’ll eat pretty much anything, even millet, but they seem especially happy with this blend. The mix pours cleanly, smells fresh, and feels like something that actually resembles natural foraging instead of dusty filler.The downside is that the squirrels love it just as much as the birds. If you consider them pests, keep this far away from patios or anywhere they can stage a takeover. The bag is also on the pricey side for the amount you get, but considering the ingredients are more exotic and supposedly higher quality than standard seed mixes, the cost is at least understandable. Nutritious Seed, Veggie and Herb Mix Looks Yummy for our Feathered Friends
This is a nice mix of seeds for my YSGCC’s – we have two of them. This seed won’t last long!We were running out of the seed mix we put together ourselves from seeds and nuts in a large container, so this little bag popped up just in time for our sweet parrots. (Ok, only one of them is sweet, but they both have to eat).In the photos I took of our little girl YSGCC, you can see she is trying to go for the seed she sees through the window of the package that says for small hookbills. I like the freeze dried veggie and herb ingredients that we don’t see in other mixes.We’ll have to see how they take to that, but I’m sure it will be eaten quickly. I am going to mix this in with their normal seed mix for a treat. The $15 price is a bit high for an 11 oz. bag, but as a treat, our feathered friends are worth it at least once or even a few times!

Good mix – for treats for birds
This is a good premium bird seed mix – I think more as a treat as there are a lot of oats which is generally a treat as it is pretty fatty. I have English budgies and they liked this treat mix. The mix is made in the USA. The freeze dried vegetables are a little large for my budgies, so I will see how they like them. In terms of cost, it is a little pricey, but I have noticed that seed mixes at my local pet shop are now on par with this one. So it isn’t a deal, but it is in line with what you can get at your local shop.Overall, a good treat mix for hookbills.

High quality bird food with lots of healthy additions
I initially grabbed this bird food mix for a motley crew of avians that hang around my yard. There are a pair of crows who are currently nesting and have some babies growing in their nest, along with some Starling Jays, robins and finches and a bunch more. I usually put out a plate of bits of grainy bread, peanuts, cashews, bird seed and other random bits of fruit and protein to see what they might like to eat.This bag has a nice mix of bird seed, freeze dried vegetables, natural foraging foods for birds like flowers and herbs. It includes chia, flax and hemp seeds along with sprouted millet and everything included is organic. For the quality and variety included it seems like a good value and the birds love it.

Amazing quality bird food. The quality of the ingredients was great and the mix looks very well balanced. The size of the package is perfect and you get a ton of seeds inside. It will last you a long time if you feed your bird correctly. Seeds should be more of a small portion or mixed with pellets and that is what I do. Great value for the quality and amount you get for the money. A varied diet will keep your birds healthy. Mines loved this seed mix and went to town with them, and they are picky eaters so they didn’t have any issues with it and loved it!
