The best for your senior dog.
We started using Orijen Senior when my dog – a wire fox terrier – turned ten years old. He is 15 now and still doing great. We feed him this for breakfast everyday, and cook for his dinner. While this dog food is expensive, it is worth every penny. As you can tell from the photo, even with my dog’s advanced age his fur still has vibrant colors. I previously had two other wire fox terriers years ago, was not feeding them Orijen (didn’t even know about it at the time), and by the time they reached about 12 years old, they had lost all their colors and turned completely white/grey.You will quickly notice the high quality whenever you open the bag, the food is still quite moist and fresh.We did in the past give him other Orijen food, but have stuck with the senior since it seems to really help him maintain a healthy digestive system.If you have an older dog, I implore you to feed them this excellent dog food!

The Absolute Best on the Market
My dog had allergy problems, one of them being a sensitivity to flax seed. I had been purchasing my dog food and supplements from a local pet store and knew a few of the employees quite well. After explaining the problems with the current brand I was using the employee did some research and recommended the ORIJEN line of dog food. What a difference in her health in a very short time. Unfortunately for the store he left and the current people who work there are rude and uncaring. So I went to my trusted AMAZON and found my Orijen dog food! I have the same high quality product my beloved dog needs at a better price, free home delivery and no nasty high school kids to deal with.Thank you Orijen for this great product and Thank you Amazon reseller for having this available!(I do NOT receive any compensation for my reviews. good quality food but too rich for my dog
This is an incredible product for use of ingredients. My dog loved the flavor but sadly, it gave her loose stools. The protein content is very high and since she’s elderly, it was too much for her.

High quality food for my senior small dog. She likes the taste of it and it’s easy for her to digest. My only wish was that it came in a smaller kibble size for small dogs. I have to crush these up for her to be able to eat it properly.

WARNING: CAUSES VOMIT AND BAD DIARRHEA
When I first introduced this dog food to my dog, it brought her dog back to life. I saw the physical changes in her, joint pains gone, was more playful, she became a whole new dog. Even though the price was high I didn’t care, her health was important to us, no other food did what Orijen was able to do on her.A few years forward, NOW, this food it’s killing her. In 2023, Orijen was sold to Mars and somehow something changed, some posts say that the formula is different. She started with really bad breath, almost impossible to be around her, Constipation and skin problems, like itching. But then she started to get sick, she’ll vomit, would have really bad diarreah, with like mucus in it. We thought she had eaten something that had made her sick, so an old remedy was given to her, which required her to stop eating her Orijen food for a few days in order for her to get better. She started to get better, and we immediately noticed that her bad breath was going away, after a few days she was fine, no bad breath, no vomit or diarrhea, back to her normal self. Once we were sure that she was good, we started giving her Orijen, So, after the 2nd day on Orijen, her bad breath came back, by day 4th she was vomiting and full blown diarrhea.So, whatever they have done, it’s getting my dog sick. I hope they go back to whatever formula or changes they’ve made, because this WAS the best food I’ve found for her.
