Worked great on my small dog, very pleased!
Better than I could have hoped! My 13 year old shitzu/chihuahua has NEVER been good about nail trims. He usually bites and wiggles like he’s being murdered. I usually pay groomers to do his nails and even they can’t get his nails as short as needed. I bought this nail grinder on a whim and I’m so glad I did. We still had to bribe my dog with peanut butter to hold still, but he let me use the grinder on all four paws in one sitting. I love the light so it’s easy to see where the grinder is on the nail, and the built in guide made it easy to control each nail as I filed them down. This brand was the best price when purchased, and as far as I can tell, it performs as well or better the ones that cost 2-3x as much. I’m so happy I can keep his nails trimmed and healthy!

Great for those terrified dogs
Great product. The noise level is extremely low. Great for terrified dogs like mine. The small clippers are an added bonus and very useful for her small paw pad area.

Works pretty well
These work great on timid dogs. My dogs were terrified of clippers and I can understand why. But this file type helped them calm down some. The little clipper is great for feet or the face and it’s quiet.

Puppy did not like the sound
I use it on my toe nails

Needs more power
It would work a lot better with more power. The cutter constantly stops working if the hair is took thick.

Easy to use!
When my groomer told me new rescue would likely let me trim his nails, I started looking for an easy tool that would allow me to do this. In all of my 30+ years of owning dogs, I have never trimmed my dog’s nails. I was always afraid to do it.This tool makes it easy. My dog lets me use this on his toes.

Truly a painless way to cut nails
I love this set. I cannot say how many times I have had to have my husband hold down our dogs so I could trim their nails. I gave my girls a hair cut yesterday and was dreading trimming their nails. I took a paw, and turned on the little grinder and she never even flinched; even let me do her dew claws which is usually really difficult. The shaver was ok but for the price (which is way cheaper than the one advertised on Facebook) I am really happy with this product. Plus I discovered that clipping dogs nails with clipper can shatter the nail and damage the bones. So I am totally happy with this product!!

To loud
My dog hated. To loud for her.

I am really pleased with this set. One of my dogs is jet black, including his nails, and I am always scared that I will cut too short, especially the dew claw. I have just used this to file down his dewclaw using this. At first he was a bit nervous, but this is so quiet and smooth that he settled and watched as his nail got shorter. Really thrilled. I had purchased one a few years ago and it was loud and the sanding wheel was not as smooth, that didn’t go well. The hair trimmer has not been used yet, but it does run, see video.100% recommend this too for your dog. It’s so gentle I think you can easily use on cats, and guinea pigs too. As well as others.

This is a two in one set…Clippers for hair and an electric nail file….The trimmers have a very small blade ideally for cutting around the paws in between the pads and around the face area….This I particularly like as I have a shih tzu and the hair around her eyes grows so needs trimming in between going to groomers….this is a lilac coloured unit….The nail grinder works well and has a good speed….this is a white unit….You also get two charging cables ….THERE WERE NO ADAPTERS IN MY BOX….

A brilliant duo. Both feel sturdy and ergonomic. They each have chargers of their own but are regular type C.The little shaver is nice and narrow and works really well between my dogs paw pads (although I’m only allowed to upload one video). Super easy to use and is fairly quiet. The nail grinder is great and works super well. Is quick and efficient. It is quite loud but that’s to be expected.
Very Review-y –
I had the opportunity to review this as part of the Amazon Vine programme :)This 2-in-1 dog nail grinder and paw trimmer is really useful if you want something more practical than the usual single-function pet grooming tools. In my opinion, it looks well put together and has a compact, cordless design, so you’re pretty much good to go straight out of the box.The nail grinder has a diamond drum bit and has three adjustable grinding ports to suit different nail sizes, so it can handle small, medium, or large dogs. I found it straightforward to select the right port for my dog’s nails, and the grinding action was smooth without much snagging. The built-in LED light on the grinder is genuinely useful for helping to see when trimming, which definitely gives more confidence when trimming. The paw trimmer has a ceramic and stainless-steel blade which is 0.8 inches wide. It was sharp enough to trim hair around the paws, ears, and other small areas quickly, but felt safe to use due to the rounded teeth that stop it from scratching or overheating. The LED light on the trimmer makes it easier to see fine fur in dimmer areas, which reduces the risk of over-trimming as well. Both tools run quietly (under 40dB) it has quite low vibration compared to others I’ve tried, which really helped with my more anxious dog, making the whole session much calmer. Being USB-C rechargeable is a bonus, no messing with batteries, and the cordless design gives you better manoeuvrability when working on awkward spots. If I’m being picky, the grinder is still slower than using clippers for very thick nails, so it takes a little patience. Also, both tools are compact, so they are best suited for maintenance grooming rather than tackling severely overgrown nails or matted fur.To be honest, it is not the most heavy-duty grooming kit you will ever find, but it does a solid job and offers very good value if you want a quiet, cordless, and easy-to-use set for regular home grooming that is comfortable for both you and your pet.

This is a well-presented set containing a precision hair trimmer for pets (purple), and a nail grinder for pets (white). Both charge via usb-C (always handy – I’ve had ones with proprietary connections before, and you’re in trouble if you lose the cable!), so could be topped up via a power bank if needed if you were away from mains power. The hair trimmer is well-balanced and easy to hold, with a textured area on the rear for grip. It has a simple on-off button, and a display which shows the battery percentage. The blades are very safe – the white one is ceramic – and I have tested them by pressing them firmly into my skin while the trimmer was running, with no pain or injury. They appear very effective and cut through my dog’s hair easily and without tugging (obviously this would be affected by any matting in the hair). The noise and vibration levels are both low, and there is a handy bright white LED light which helps you to see what you’re doing. My only quibble – which I have with all of these trimmers – is that I really wish they’d sell them with protective caps. Other than that I’m very happy with it, the battery life seems impressive, it hasn’t dropped from 100% despite me having a little go at the dog’s legs with it.The other half of this kit is a (white) nail grinder tool, also charged with a usb-c lead (they have helpfully provided two in the box). We have tried tools of this type before (they’re basically a Dremel), and my dog will tolerate it but isn’t overly keen so I save them for taking off sharp edges after I’ve cut her claws with nail clippers. You can use them in place of nail clippers entirely, some dogs prefer them , but mine is very small and I think the vibration is relatively powerful to her. Nonetheless we had a go, and it works well. I particularly like the ergonomics of it – it is almost shaped like a torch, and has grips on the sides, which is very helpful when dealing with a wriggly dog trying to knock it out of your hand! There is also a bright white LED light on this tool, which is incredibly helpful and something I haven’t seen before in a nail grinder.Great value set, with two well-made and useful tools in it.
