Well built; impervious to wind and sun
I really like this bird bowl. It was easy to assemble. Very sturdy, and because of the all metal construction it seems impervious to our relentless Arizona sun. (Most plastic products disintegrate after 2 years outside.) The finish on the bowl is very attractive. Most important, the birds seem to love it. One feature I REALLY like is that the bowl is easily emptied since it just rests inside the wire frame. I dump the water each night as not to attract unwanted critters. Easy to do. The high winds we have at our house don’t affect the metal bowl, either. For extra insurance, I leave a medium rock inside the bowl at night when it’s empty. The rock is probably overkill, since the metal bowl has heft but we get really high winds. I definitely would buy it again.

Strong, durable and attractive
I use with the solar bird bath. In order to keep debris out I use fine mesh screen on the outer edge of the solar bath. Works fine.

Attractive, functional and well priced!
Easy to set up and install. I paid $30 and consider that reasonable for this little bird bath. The color and design are appealing, and the photos from the Amazon listing were accurate for the product. We’ve only had it for a month at the time of this review, so I can’t speak to durability.We get American Robins, House Sparrows, White-crested Sparrows, House Finch, Eurasian Collared Dove, Yellow-headed Blackbirds, and Rock Pigeons who all use this bird bath. The removable basin is very helpful in keeping it clean; I dump, rinse, wipe it down with my hands, and refill it daily. It gets a weekly scrub with a brush to ensure cleanliness.It gets very windy in our mountainous area, and this bird bath has held its own against 30 mph sustained winds in the area, and while it is has not been directly exposed to those it surely has endure a minimum of 15 mph winds/gust to 20 mph. A smallish rock which we placed in the center of the basin (probably no more than 1/2 a pound) serves nicely for some of the smaller birds as an island.

Update: It’s been a year and it hasn’t held up. The coating started to peel causing the bird bath to start rusting. I’ll add a picture of what it looks like now after a year of use.I love it! I’ve been having the bird bath for a few months now and it is holding up well. I love that it is metal and is decent quality for the price. I purchased a copper disc to put in it to help with algae and bacteria growth so I haven’t had any problems with that. The disc did discolor the bottom a little but it doesn’t bother me. I also have a solar power fountain in added to it. I had to tweak that for it to fit and change out different attachments to keep it from spraying all the water out with one’s that sprayed high.

Absolutely love the look & size of this birdbath, but one prong broke the minute I attempted to put in the ground! Ground was soft enough, so I feel as if it was defective.UPDATE—- I sent a message to the seller & he got back with me within the hour! After sending a picture of where the prong broke off & requesting to get the bottom section replaced, I was told a new birdbath should arrive by April 1st!Great communication & support from this seller. Thank you…..

Great bird bath
I bought this for my mother. It was easy to put together and it’s sturdy. I like the deep dish because I got her a solar fountain and this is deep enough so the water doesn’t splash out like other smaller bird baths. I would buy it again.

Really nice for the price. I guess my expectations were low due to the price, but it’s REALLY nice and seems like it will last longer than I expected.

Very nice product; Poor packaging
Cute birdbath, nice width, deep bath, lightweight. Will need to add stones for smaller birds. Should be easy to clean as the bath sits within a support ring so it’s easily removable.However, I gave it 3 stars as everything came wrapped in thin cheap bubble wrap that the metal posts tore through during shipment. These were placed within the bath that was a tight fit thus scratching the interior of the bath. I now have concerns how that could wear / rust over time where the paint or coating was compromised. At the very LEAST the manufacturer could have done was to cover the post ends in a cardboard or plastic caps for shipping. I do have a means of repairing this, just surprised the manufacturer took less pride in proper shipping methods that also could have resulted in further dents / damages.

The stand is too weak to accommodate the weight of a gallon of water in the bird bath. The stand broke before I even got a chance to use it. Now I am left with another alternative to use as a stand,

Didnt even last one season, the bottom is completely rusted and completely coming apart….. extremely deceiving!!
