Arm & Hammer Super Absorbent Cage Liners are small animal cage tray liners made to help keep wet waste from soiling the tray beneath the habitat. This 7 count pack is designed for guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and other small animals that use cages with a wire or mesh grate over the waste area. Each liner uses an absorbent inner layer to help wick away moisture and odor from the tray area, supporting cleaner routine habitat care between changes. The liners are intended to sit beneath the grate, not on top as bedding, and they can be trimmed as needed for a closer fit in different cage tray layouts. Place the liner shiny side down underneath the wire or mesh grate, then replace it when soiled as part of normal cage cleaning. This format gives pet parents a simpler cleanup option than washing the tray after every mess and helps reduce odor and moisture buildup in the habitat and surrounding room.

TRAY PROTECTION: Super absorbent cage liners help keep wet waste from soiling the tray beneath small animal cages, creating a cleaner base layer for daily habitat care; use under a wire or mesh grate to help separate pets from waste
MOISTURE WICKING: Absorbent inner layer helps wick away moisture and odor from the waste area, supporting a drier cage environment between changes; liner format gives pet parents a simpler cleanup option than scrubbing the tray after every mess
ODOR CONTROL: Cage liners help manage odor in the habitat and surrounding room by absorbing wet waste before it spreads across the tray; suitable for routine use with guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and other small animals kept in indoor cages
WIRE GRATE USE: Designed for cages with a wire or mesh grate over the waste area, these liners fit beneath the grate where they can collect moisture more effectively; not intended as loose top bedding or as a direct-contact litter replacement
TRIM TO FIT: Each liner can be trimmed as needed to fit the cage tray more closely, giving households flexibility for different small animal cage layouts; place shiny side down during setup and replace the liner when it becomes soiled
SEVEN COUNT PACK: Includes 7 cage liners in one pack for repeat habitat cleaning and routine maintenance; practical for homes with one or more small pets that need regular waste control without washing reusable tray inserts every day
SMALL ANIMAL CARE: Made for guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and other small animals that use cages with a waste tray system, these liners support everyday habitat upkeep and help reduce contact between standing moisture and the lower tray

Big difference in odor and easy to clean
They actually worked well, I noticed a difference definitely after I ran out and went without them for a little while.

    Good product
I actually bought this to use for my cat to line her bed. It is small but I knew it would be. It was easy to use and helpful in cleanup. If she vomited or made any other kind of mess, it would not soak through. Very durable and good quality. These lasted me longer than puppy pads I’ve tried. Would buy again, especially if there are bigger sizes too.

    True game changers!
I’ve owned guinea pigs for close to 9 years now, and I’m not sure why I never used these things. I’m almost mad I didn’t use them earlier honestly! Absolute game changers. They’re really effective at keeping down the urine smell for longer — and if you own guinea pigs, you *know* that smell can get bad after awhile. For best results, I highly recommend lining the entire area of the cage with these liners, then pairing with some sort of bedding, preferably aspen bedding because it’s best in terms of odor neutralizing and not being too dusty for guinea pigs’ lungs. If you have a guinea pig who nibbles at everything, the bedding will help keep the liners out of sight. It wouldn’t be good for them to chew on it, which is something to consider before buying.I’ve also discovered that these help ease the cleanup process, too! Instead of having to scoop up every last bit of bedding on cleaning days, I just have to scoop a little off the top, then roll up the liners and use them almost like diapers! hahaAs far as absorbency goes, these were fantastic. I used them in a cage with two guinea pigs for about 3 weeks, just to test out if they’d hold up, and while the smell did start to become a little noticeable (fair enough for 3 weeks honestly), none of the urine seeped through the bottom. The canvas floor of the cage was completely dry. Again: game changer. If you’re debating on using these to keep the smell down and help with cleanup overall, I couldn’t recommend them more. Not to mention, they’re very cheap for how many you can get in a whole pack!

    Excellent option for small pets…
I use these for the bottom of our hamster cage, it’s helped with the odor so much! Their very good quality, very easy to use, and make for a very easy clean up. I have not had a problem with leaking, and the size is excellent, covering the space I need. Great quality and value, I’ve bought these multiple times and keep coming back for more!

  6. Awesome Cover!

Wish They Came in Larger Quantities
These work amazing for a quick clean out job of a cage, but they aren’t large pads, and there’s not that many in a box. For a regular Midwest habitat which is the minimum size cage for a guinea pig, I have to use 4 pads to cover the cage. I go through 2 boxes within a month, so not sure I’ll continue using this brand, but I do like that all I have to do is bundle up all the dirty shavings in the liners and put them in the trash. It cut my cleaning time in half. So there’s definitely pros and cons.

    Cuts down on smells!
I use these for my Guinea pigs in their cage and it helps immensely to cut down on the smell. I usually just have to replace every couple of days. Highly recommend for guinea pig owners.

    Best deal!
These are perfect for your Guinea pig cage or any other small animals. Very easy to clean up all I do is grab each corner folded and roll it up and toss it out. I thought this was the perfect amount for what I paid and lasting me one week total so definitely a great value for the cost. Guinea pigs didn’t seem to mind them, but would go underneath them sometimes. They look great in a, And our soft and comfortable. They also withstand my guinea pig nails getting the zoomies running around their cage, nonstop without ripping or having any issues. They are a stable brand to go with.

About a month ago i rescued a bunny. it took my a while to figure out the whole litter bin situation and what worked best for him. Until i figured it out, these things made cleaning up his cage in the morning much much easier. I have a cage that has a “pee tray” so i used the liners over top of the tray to catch his pee during the night. In the morning it was easy to clean, take the liner out, put it in a garbage bag, and replace it. It was much easier and much better than dealing with his pee all over his food bin, thats for sure.
