Perfect feeder
I wish I would’ve bought this a long time ago! The area around our birdcage is so much cleaner since I got this feeder + a mesh netting to go around the cage. It makes me feel better knowing how much food they have left. Our 2 parakeets took to it right away. Very happy with this purchase!

Very clean and neat
It dramatically reduces the amount of trash and leftovers from parakeets: when they eat the leftovers fall down to the tray. Also it is very easy to add more grains to the feeder, because it is effectively outside, I don’t even need to open the cage.

Be Careful – and Good Luck!
IF you can get one of these that doesn’t come broken or cracked, they are excellent feeders. The problem is getting one in tact. I sent one back. Ordered again. Still came with a broken part (a SMALL issue: The left tab on the top cover of the feeder, which is very minor).The problem is the plastic isn’t very good. Also, since they use a fragile type of plastic, I’m amazed the don’t pack it more secure to prevent damage in transoceanic shipping.AGAIN: IF YOU CAN GET ONE THAT’S NOT BROKEN, THEY ARE EXCELLENT.

Great bird feeder to keep birds from tipping their bowl
This definitely saves the mess of my conure dumping his bowl when he’s done searching for his favorites and gives him something to do. It’s a little messing trying to pull out the bottom cup to empty it out (well, a lot messy) but it’s a lot better than my bird dumping his bowl every day. I think it helps that he can see is favorites are up higher, he just can’t get to them unless he works at it a little. Keeps him occupied and he doesn’t give up like he might if he couldn’t see through to the seed inside. It’s very easy to fill too, it just has a lid on top. I’m a little concerned it’s going to break at the screw because it’s started to crack, but so far so good and we’ve had it maybe 6 months.

This feeder is wonderful! I have 2 cages for my budgie… a large one where he usually lives; and a smaller one for when I take my budgie to a friend’s home for bird sitting. The smaller cage has several openings, exactly the size of the feeder; I noticed immediately, that my bird was NOT making a mess at the bottom of the cage…. nor on the floor outside the cage. But that same feeder would NOT fit my larger cage, which has only 1 very large opening….which is it’s door. If I tried to attach feeder to the large opening, it would make it impossible for me to close the cage door. So I carefully drilled a hole on the opposite side of where the original hole of the feeder was, and then put the entire feeder inside the cage, NOT at the opening. It works really well! No seeds on the bottom of the large cage either….no wasting of 80% of the seeds. I’ve had the large cage for over 1 year…and the bottom has never been this clean…free of seeds! I highly recommend this feeder…which I feel can be adapted to any cage. Photo below shows the feeder fixed to the inside of the large cage that has NO OPENINGS the size of the feeder. The feeder works just as well. Fantastic product!

Fantastic bird feeder….easy to attach to birdcage and no mess…I have 2 budgie birds that are messy eaters and was constantly cleaning my floor under their cage for excess seeds…also most of their seeds would end up at the bottom of the cage which was a waste of food. This feeder catches extra seeds and can be put back into the main container..so happy with this item….This is a must for any person with birds..
