Very good product!
This filter media is good,… maybe too good😒…. i specifically put tannins in my tank for my betta fish to create a black water aquarium and this filter pad sucked it all out🤦😓, so if you don’t want tannins in your tank please get this. It definitely does its job very well. Well worth the money if you don’t want tannins….very easy to cut and put in your filter, perfect size, and is very durable and last a while.

Works great. Purchase this to replace the typical square bun filter that when it gets full, it likes to float up on the hangover backfield and caused water to over.. these thin filters eliminate that plus the sheet is so large you can make several new filters out of it, which she probably won’t need for quite a while…

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this was a budget solution for the little i wanted to invest when asked to babysit a turtle with the only instructions being “just feed once a week”Well…. the owner will be gone for two months and just a month later I was starting to think I’d have to figure out how to do a water change in a house that isn’t mine.This filter right here is buying me some time!!!! I didn’t even know this kind of cut-to-size filter existed but I swapped out the old basic sponge filter for this and the water clarity was noticeable the next day! I first tried leaving the black sponge filter in but noticed it slowed down the flow too much with both.Super happy and impressed! There’s still at least 5 more filters to get out of this sheet.Comparison photo will show (top) before and after (bottom)P.s. I am working on helping out with the husbandry and continuing to add water

Clogs very quickly.
The filter media is a great filter but it clogs on me in a few days on my large sump causing it to over flow and bypass my filtration system.

Honestly worth 6 stars.Been using filter floss in my reef tank for years, which works fairly well.Anyhow, installed a section of this in my HOB filter earlier this evening. Completely cleared my water to crystal clear and also did such a good job, I don’t even have surface filmnon top of the water. This has polished my water to perfect clarity.My only complaint will ever be is if they stop making it.Highly recommend for those that use hang on back filters for their tanks

Zudem sind die Originalmedien im Verhältnis zu ihrer Standzeit und Leistungsfähigkeit vergleichsweise kostenintensiv.Die nun verwendete Kombination aus Filtermatte und Filtersteinen arbeitet hingegen deutlich effektiver. Die Filtermatte übernimmt die mechanische Vorfilterung, indem sie grobe und feine Schwebstoffe zuverlässig zurückhält. Dadurch bleibt die Durchströmung länger stabil, und das biologische Filtermaterial wird vor schneller Verschmutzung geschützt.Die eingesetzten Filtersteine verfügen über eine stark poröse Struktur mit hoher spezifischer Oberfläche, wodurch sie ideale Besiedlungsbedingungen für nitrifizierende Bakterien bieten. Came in shink wrap , sponge how has to be soaked and then dried to return it to it shape and be able to use it , it does give instructions to do this , but does not say this when buying , a lot of messing around just to use a bit of glitter , will not be buying again

I was suprised how much this foam expanded once soaked. Way better filter sponge than the filter flosses.and sponges that you can by at 3 x the money. Cut to size and installed in filter. Works very well just make sure you put it the right way blue is the primary filter for larger particles and the white is the fine water polishing filter. Aquarium is extremely clear.
