Plane but so efficient
A new cat in my life, a tortie no less, and feral as far as I can tell, recently showed up. No apparent experience with indoors at all, but came inside and explored. After some time, I knew she needed a post for the good of all. This one caught my eye because of it’s simplicity. And Cinnamon, having never even seen such a thing, exploded onto it. Didn’t even sniff it. Simply pounced and consumed. I’d say this Cat Tree is worth it’s salt and more. Thanks from both of us.Bene Vivere in Pace et Veritas. SB~

Our kitten loves his post. Now his training begins.
The rope is thinner than previous post we had for our older felines, but this works just fine for our 12-week old kitten and I think it will be fine as he grows older — this is a solid post with very tightly packed rope. He attacks it full force and so far there are no issues with it moving, even on a smooth floor. So far, so good. Installation: A hex wrench is included (along with the needed hardware), so no other tools are needed for assembly. A simple diagram of how to assemble the post is included.Some folks seemed to have trouble with the installation. The post comes in two pieces. If you start the two-sided screw in the bottom post (the top post has the carpet), then put the middle fuzzy piece on, then screw the top post to the bottom one, you will get a very firm fit (you have lots of leverage using the two posts to tighten). Open the base and place it on your legs while seated in a chair (the bottom of the base is on your legs). Fit the remaining screw, with washer, through the whole in the base and screw on what is now one, assembled post. Once you get the screw started, turn the whole thing over and tighten with the included hex wrench.

Cats Are Pleased
Cats can be fussy, but there are also things that please them. One of those is this great scratching post. It is wrapped in heavy, natural sisal which your cat will not wear out. It is high enough that even a larger cat is comfortable reaching high for a long, back stretching scratch. The post is securely mounted on a very sturdy base. This scratching post looks like, well, a scratching post, but the texture and color is such that you don’t have to put it out of sight—from guests or your cat. The price is very reasonable and the packaging is well done. Highly recommended.

Good deal for price and what you get
I like this one because the color matches the decor of my house. It’s not too big and it’s not too small. The cats use it every single day…like all scratching posts, The rope starts to eventually rip apart, but that’s typical of every scratching post (at least the ones I’ve had in the past) But comparing prices this was the best deal for the size and I’ll order it again when I need a new one.

Good Find
Easy to assemble…my one cat adores its and will even sleep on the carpet that it stands on. She loves the sisal poles and the hanging balls too. My other cat is OK with it but she is not the catcher the first cat is. Hopes it helps wiht stopping her from scratching the furniture!

What Every Spoiled Kitty Needs
This cat scratching post will, hopefully, fill the void left by the lower posts of my cat’s condo that she’s shredded to their cardboard centers. The cat scratching post is sturdy, well made, and makes an unobtrusive addition to my cat’s corner of the living room. The instructions that came with the post are a joke — a small eighth of a page that was cut in two so that I had to guess at its meaning. Thankfully, assembling the scratching post is intuitive.

I put a different base onto it but love the post
I buy a new scratching post 2-3 times a year for my two cats. They love this post and seem to enjoy that it is a taller post than what I got from a competitor last time. I loved the price of this unit. So,first of all I love the scratching post a lot. I like that it comes in a small box and that the post is cut into two pieces, and it is taller than most other brands. However I did not like the base of the unit which is two pieces of wood held together by the fabric, cut in half. The unit did not come with hardware to screw or secure the two pieces together, so it was bit in sturdy. It comes with a very large washer but I don’t think that is enough to make it sturdy. I think you could buy a couple pieces from the hardware store and screw them in as a good fix to this issue and it will still be worth it!I had the base to my old scratcher and simply installed this post onto the old base. I would love an option to just purchase the post, so I can replace just that piece when the cats wear it down. Thanks for all you do. Great product!

You’ll pinch your body then bleed putting it together. Requires 2-3 persons.
Love the height and that it’s sisal, but it takes too many hands/people to put the thing together. The bas is split so 1 or two have to hold it together, the poles are in 3 so that’s not bad, putting both ends together you need a 3rd or 4th person or you’ll pinch fingers, arms, boobs in the slit bottom while trying to screw itg to the pole. Took me an hour after I threw outside and had to find the pieces again. Pissed me off so bad I really wanted to burn it. I hate when they build crap that hurts you physically to put it together. Once it’s done it’s great, but while it’s in pieces it’s a BITCH!

This is THE BEST cat scratching post I’ve bought ~ and I’ve bought a lot over the years!!My kitty cat loves it! Its nice and tall so she can really enjoy a good stretch whilst she scratches and sharpens her claws. Its extremely sturdy and the sisal string is great quality ~ nice and thick without shedding any rope fibres.It’s really easy to put together. Excellent value for money.One happy kitty cat = one happy kitty cat mommy!
