Ideal Playpen
This playpen is great! It was easy to put together ! A double locking system to ensure your pup doesn’t escape out of the gated panel. Also you can use this playpen inside as well due to the rubber stoppers to protect your floor.Attractive and sturdy. I would recommend especially because you can open it up after playpen puppy stage and utilize it for a gate.

Great Product
Love it, easy set up, my pup loves it. Durable, safe, easy to use gate. I got the 6 panel for my dachshund pup, will probably get the extra 2 panels as he grows, but plenty of space for him, without taking up my whole living room. It can set up in a variety of shapes to work for your space

Steel pen is very well-made
This 2 x 4 ft steel pen is very well-made, and it is easy to assemble and move around your room. This model is only 24 inches high; so it is suitable for a small 10 lb dog. A cat can easily jump out of it. However, I used the pen to restrict my sick disabled cat to the kitchen because she sometimes could not find the litter box. The cat tolerated the 2 x 4 pen without distress. The pen is easy to dis-assemble and store for later use.

SO NICE, GOT IT TWICE!! (Seriously, buy it)
We love this pen and have had it for about eight months. I have two miniature dachshunds, one of whom had figured out how to jump over her previous 24” black wire Xpen (you know the ones). I leave them in an enclosed area in our apartment while we are away and to sleep at night. I have always battled with setting up one of those crappy black ones from Petsmart in a way I actually liked, and then would have to fold it in and out every time I wanted to let the girls out of their area, which was at least twice a day. Then, to get into the area with them, I’d have to straddle the pen. Well I got pregnant and pretty soon it wasn’t safe to do that anymore— So I spent the pretty penny for this bad boy and I am sooo glad I did. First and foremost, it’s taller, so no more jumping— easy fix there. Secondly, it’s made of premium materials, the coating is wipe-able and actually ceramic-like. In just a year and a half my Xpen had rust, and the connectors were all falling off. This is built with modularity in mind and I LOVE the rod system to put it together. I love that if I still feel like I need more panels, I can buy and add them. Vice versa if I decide I need to put my girls in a smaller area. No more folding up the Xpen so one side is bulky and awkward. The rubber feet on the bottom of each panel keep it from sliding around too!! (That is another complaint I had about the Xpen). It’s actually quite study, can withstand being jumped against, and the (separate) wall connectors make this pen basically permanent where you put it. As an added bonus it looks classy (at least the white one is, can’t speak for the black but I assume it’s the same). Guests have complimented this thing, and that’s perfect because I never take it down and it’s part of our home now. And the gate— having an actual door on the pen saved my life. Now I have a newborn and I am SO happy to have to straddle that damn pen.The one and ONLY gripe I have is that the door requires either two hands or, if you’re me, a hand and foot. I lift the bottom with my toes/side of my foot and the top with my hand to get in, especially because I am usually also holding baby in the other hand. I wish FXW had considered making a door adapter for one handed operation. I’m sure I can Jerry rig something in the future, but for now I’ve just suffered with it. It’s mainly just a huge pain if the door closes behind me while I am inside, then I have to bend over and open from the outside. Not super accessible but that tradeoff is worth it for me.In the end, I bought a second 8+Door set to combine with my current set for when we take a two week holiday this winter. We will be at a cabin, and I want to set up a yard for the girls to run in while I’m mildly distracted with the baby and can’t watch them as closely as I normally do. Seriously considering buying a third or some extra panels so that I have a huge area/options.To me, worth every single penny, HANDS DOWN!!! I wish I had found this BEFORE I got them as puppies, would’ve saved me money on those crappy Xpens, and a ton of headaches. (Same with those damn collapsible wire crates but that’s a different review LOL) If it’s in your cart, pull the trigger, you probably won’t regret it.

Good deal, worked for us, but not sturdy
Good purchase. It is great for using when going to family and friends homes. It is not heavy. It is so easy to set up( 5 minutes). The latch was safe but easy for me open and close with one hand. It is good for the price. The reason that I only gave it 4 stars because it is not sturdy. My dog didn’t try to get out but he could easily if he tried. This might can be fixed by placing something against it.

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, and Perfect for a New Fur Baby!
I ordered this playpen on Prime Day after we decided to welcome a new fur baby into our home, and I’m so glad I did. The box it arrived in was quite heavy, but everything was well-packed and easy to manage — I simply opened it by the front door and carried each panel to the living room where I planned to set it up.Assembly was simple and surprisingly quick. I really appreciated that it came with gloves, which made putting it together even easier and more comfortable. The panels connect securely, and I love that it can be arranged in different configurations depending on the space. I’ll likely stick with the rectangular setup, but the flexibility is a nice bonus.Even though our new puppy hasn’t come home yet, the playpen feels very sturdy and stable. I’m confident it will provide a safe, enclosed space for her to relax and play when we can’t have eyes on her 100% of the time.This playpen exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and ease of assembly. A great purchase for anyone bringing home a new pet!

Excellent quality, easy installation, aesthetically pleasing. Sturdiness of the completed pen is great as each component has some weight to it. The rubber stoppers on the bottom of each piece protects wooden floors and keeps the gate in place – when moving, be sure to lift rather than drag if you can. I purchased the velcro cover from the same manufacturer to create a safe den for my new rescue dog. Highly recommend both pieces. [Side note/advice for those new to dog companionship: We put in a lot of patient, calm work to make it a safe and peaceful place for the dog – feeding meals, high value treats (stuffed Kong, etc.), never forcing the dog into the pen, or using it as any sort of punishment. She goes in on her own accord for rest, space, and relaxation – we can also place her in there without any upset. Please be patient when training your new dog – mastering this type of pen training will give you both peace of mind and safe space when necessary.]

Best animal pen I’ve ever owed! Buy It!!
This is the perfect pen for your pet. Super easy to set up, and very durable. It’s nice having a little door to open and close. There are two latches on the door. I totally recommend this for dogs and rabbits. You can set it up to put the door on any side or end you need it. It does come with anchors if you choose to use this as a corner pen to attach to walls.
