My green cheek went bananas for these
My bird absolutely loves these rings and has a blast shredding them! However, the product description is a bit misleading when it says “wood”—they feel more like stiff, hardened cardboard.Based on my experience, I recommend sticking to the width of 0.31 inches (0.08 cm). I’ve tried thicker ones before, and Jasper wouldn’t even touch them, let alone shred them. As bird parents, we all know that if a toy isn’t being destroyed, it’s not doing its job, right?I definitely recommend these rings, even for birds that don’t typically enjoy playing. They’re very interactive and engaging, and I’ve had great success even with less playful birds. You can also use them to make your own toys—add some Chinese finger traps, and you’ve got an entertaining, engaging toy for your feathered babies.

thin birdy bagels
These are the nice birdy bagels, but make sure you look at the size (I only went by the pictures), they are much thinner than what I usually buy, so they are not much challenge for my bird. Good for smaller birds, probably, but a good product.

Not the product pictured, too small, muddy colors.
These arrived today, and when I saw how small the box was, my heart sank. There was no way that 24 of the rings pictured in the product description could possibly fit into that box… unless the rings were MUCH smaller than the photos. Now, I’m uses to Amazon vendors making outrageous claims about parrot-related toys and supplies, especially as to the kind of parrots the product is supposed to be for. The rings are a) smaller than depicted, and much thinner, b) NOT the colors depicted in the photograph (instead of a mix of bright colors, the colors are not vibrant, and instead of green and pink, there’s a black-blue and a mud brown color. Very misleading, and I’m disappointed that I did not receive the sort of chewing rings I expected. These should have been twice the size and thickness, going by the photos in the product description. I’d say don’t waste your time or money purchasing these. One of these might last all of five minutes with my Severe Macaw., or be suitable for a small bird – cockatiel-sized or smaller, but not a larger bird. Now I have to figure out how to use these as enrichment for a bird used to tearing up cardboard bagels twice this size in an hour. My advice to the vendor – stop with the deceptive advertising and stop using photos that are lifted from elsewhere.

The rings are thinner than I anticipated but the birds still enjoy chewing off the colored paper. It keeps them entertained.
