Great item for our finches and parakeets
We have a flock of finches in a large cage and this water ‘shower’ provides a unique opportunity for the birds to take baths. Several of our birds spent time checking out the shower and finally started taking their showers without fear. We were surprised how soon they got used to the unit. I would not put this in a cage with birds larger than parakeets but it is perfect for small birds that usually bath in small bowls of water. This unit is a great addition.

Bigger Than Expected in the Best Way, Both Budgies Can Use It Together
I ordered this for my budgies and was pleasantly surprised by the size. It is larger than I expected, which is actually a great thing since both of my birds can use it at the same time. It was easy to put together and looks like it will be simple to clean, which is a big plus for something that needs regular water changes.The grid size on the grate is just right for smaller birds, and the pump works really well. The water flow is strong enough to keep things moving and the pump is quiet enough that it won’t startle nervous birds.

Scared my birds
I didn’t deduct any points for it scaring my birds, I just thought it was funny because new things are obviously very scary!! That said, I got this up and running very quickly. There’s some wobbles to discuss. The shower head is kind of heavy while on so it’s a little flimsy, because it’s not really secured by much. It’s a tube you stick on a pump and pop the head on. I don’t think it’s going to fall though, unless they try to land on it. They’ll immediately topple off. The valve on the side that controls the water pressure came off immediately. I turned it wrong, apparently. I got it back on easily enough so I’m not giving it a 3, but it’s not a 5. It’s adequate. My birds didn’t want anything to do with it BUT they went nuts when I turned it on and one immediately needed to shower under the less adequate tub faucet 😂 I think it’s going to take some time for them to get used to it before they use it, but I think they will eventually. The cord is a normal cord. They included some tape to make it “bite proof.” Which might help with smaller beaks, but I think a caique would bite right through it even with the tape on it. Just keep that in mind and don’t let them have at it unsupervised and they should be fine.

So far, so good. Item works well, all pcs appear to be included & intact. It actually provides a nice, “fountain” sound as well as good water flow. I do bird rescues and this will be great for the aviary, and, after working with it a bit, it could be used as a fresh dog or cat waterer as well. Just take the little plastic grate out of it. The small pump has suction feet to keep it secured on the bottom of the unit. It takes a few mins for the water to start flowing. It’s super easy to assemble and the size is decent. A couple fairly large birds, or a bunch of small birds, could all use this. The price point seems a bit high, but the design is simple and functional. Being it’s all plastic, it should last a while under normal use conditions. A nice little addition to my animal sanctuary.

My Quaker loves this! Highly recommend!
This new bird bath is exactly as described. It took my Quaker a bit to warm up to it but he approves! There’s one issue. I pressed the tube into the pump piece and the connecting tube is now stuck on the tube piece but still can be inserted. This came with “bite proof tape” you must put on yourself. I’m a little weary about this but my bird will never be left alone to chew anyways. When you figure out the way to install the pump at the bottom of the bath, you have to do a bit of trial and error to make sure you position it so when you top it with the grate you can push the tube through and have it fit and be able to connect without the grate in the way! The water shower top piece has a turn feature to turn the drips off or on. This is nice. Also, it came with a few extra filters for the pump. You must place a filter in the pump as it’s not in there already! Two rolls of bite proof tape are included as I took a pic of all stuff included. Another nice touch was they included some water proof liners to set down below the bath. Since my bird approves, so do I! Don’t forget to let your bird warm up to this in their own. Mine it took a day of walking by it and turning it on and splashing my hand under it then kept walking. Forcing will make the bird scared of it forever. This is a nice quality bird bath and you can fill it with warm water and it must be over the filter to work properly. Directions are included so I appreciated this. It’s got a Chinese Certification sticker included but I don’t know how to read it or if it is US safe standards. Maybe this could be sent in English as well.
