Great staple for a wet/dry hybrid diet
My cats loved this and I really thought they wouldn’t bc of the sea weed mentioned on the package.My cats have been on strict wet food diet but I got this to attempt to make a lower value treat option to intermix with temptations for cost purposes. (I figure a treats just anything they don’t regularly eat but like to eat).Anyway, fast forward from me buying a 3lbs bag to this because they LOVED IT!!!!A lot of the time they eat this BEFORE the wet food. I was SHOCKED.Fantastic value for the money, and now that I’m doing a 50/50 wet food/dry food diet it is saving me like $600 a year even when buying this is factored in.One note for anyone though. CHECK THE CALORIES. Cat dry food is very calorie dense. This is like 380 cal a CUP. Which is good, others are like 500. But it’s still dense, and cat food companies always give wrong proportions to feed.I give each cat 2/3rd of a 5.5 oz wet food and 1/2 a cup of this every day (split between two meals). It is calorically enough for cats up to 12 lbs.Don’t overfeed or u will see them beef up fast.Side note my super picky girl cat who it was even a struggle to find her wet food to eat, LOVES IT. She wouldn’t even eat another brand of dry food that was way more pricey than this hence the switch to wet food. I was SHOCKED that she wanted to eat this!I’d also like to note that this reduces vomiting. Because it’s calorically dense they aren’t stuffing their faces with large volumes of wet food which would cause my older male to vomit even though I got them all those angled bowls (which also did help the frequency of that). Since I started using this, no vomiting at all but they are still all getting the calories they need.Great staple for us now.

Great Dry Cat Food
The cat is happy to eat this stuff. I also use it to feed birds…only the starlings eat it. Finches, Blue Jays, Cardinals…do not eat this stuff…but the Starlings LOVE IT! A group (covey?) meet at the feeder for a frenzy and in minutes, a four quart feeder is emptied!Salute! Yes, again…the cat eats this also.As an added note, I keep a few ounces of this in the feeder tray for the cat and she eats this regularly. To be complete on nutrition, she also gets a can of tuna every day.
