My 2yr old Syrian loves this food and eats 90% of what’s in there every day. Have been feeding him this for over 6 months now. I was impressed by higher protein and lower fat and just the higher quantity. After purchasing I started seeing it at local chain pet stores for more $$.

Gourmet Dwarf Hamster Food
My dwarf hamster “May” absolutely loves this food!! We’ve been using another brand, the most economical I could find until switching to this brand. She’s always super excited about her dish getting filled, so excited she literally jumps right in and gets to work filling her cheeks. There are big chunks, not those one’s that look like pellets, substantially bigger and softer. She actually eats the big pieces and everything else, other than the pellets. So happy I found this at an amazing price here on Amazon!! “May” is super picky, won’t eat any fresh produce besides broccoli, and whole milk cottage cheese, yet she adores this food.

My hamster is totally satisfied
Lots of different foods that my hamster likes. The only issue is that there are these really big pieces that my hamster won’t touch, and I’m not sure why they are in there in the first place, except to make the package weigh more. Other than that, it’s good quality, multiple different things for her to eat, and it’s a decent amount for the price I paid.

happy little frat boys
I call my three gerbils the frat boys, and they love this food. Every time I refill their bowl they come running up their “stairs” to root around. Seems like a good quality food and they enjoy it.

Good variety of goodies for your pet!
My daughters rat seems to love this feed. Definitely has more of a variety of goodies mixed together than some of the ones we’ve previously purchased. Will def be purchasing and/or recommending this item so long as little Onyx agrees.

My hamster loved it
I ordered this for my winter white when Higgins was out of stock. She really liked it and I had zero issues. I will say that I supplement my hamster with oxbow, dried mealworms, and veggies so her diet is varied. For the price this can’t be beat but I wouldn’t recommend it as your hamster’s only food source.

Cheap food
Too much of the cheap pellets and little seeds hamsters don’t eat. I throw out 2/3’s of the food every feeding.

Good price but perhaps not great for picky hamsters.
The price for this food is what initially drew me to it. I’ve heard that the pellets are actually better for your small animals in the long run because it gives them less of a chance of being picky and I can see now that could be an issue. My hamster will pick through this stuff and leave all if the things he doesn’t like which makes me wonder if he is getting the nutrition he needs.

Please take note of the size (2 lbs), this is a very small bag for a whole lot of money. Definitely not worth the price. Beware.
